Sara's Visit

My sister Sara was the last of my family to come visit me in Paris.We covered the requisite tourist attractions...including Giverny, which merits a posting all of its own...and rode the bateaux mouches...and ate and drank and ate some more...

We had a great time! Thanks for a wonderful visit, big sis!

Mantes la Jolie

Yesterday I went on a 15km walk in the town and surrounding countryside of Mantes la Jolie. It was a half hour train to get to this lovely little village and then about 5 hours of walking. It was so nice to get out of Paris and enjoy the country...
